ALKC Creator has SPECIAL CONDITION

Guarantee of origin with DNA registered in the pedigree, is the only alternative currently known to guarantee that the puppy is really the son of the parents described in the document. The breeder who makes available the collection of genetic material from his herd and files it in the laboratory, makes it possible to check the kinship with a 99.99% chance of the pedigree information being true. It is the only way to reliably prove the animal's ancestry and preserve the breeder's work with great peace of mind.

DOING DNA PROFILE IS NOT MANDATORY, BUT ADDS VALUE TO THE PUPPY!

From BRL 120.00 FOR ONLY BRL 96.00 (PER ANIMAL)

The ALKC aims to:

Validate the authenticity of the document issuance with its authentication and paper security system, validate the genetic origin of the registered animals by kinship DNA exam (paternity/maternity) by the breeder's free choice.

If the abbreviation DNA PROFILE appears in the pedigree comments field, this means that the animal has its genetics assured by DNA testing.

ANIMAL GENETIC IDENTIFICATION

Tests a set of microsatellite markers suggested by ISAG.

These microsatellite markers are highly polymorphic regions of the genome, that is, they present great variation in the population.

Through the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test, these regions are amplified (copied) several times. These amplified fragments are analyzed in an automatic sequencer, determining the size of each amplified region. The set of these data determines the genetic profile (genotype) of each animal.

The genotype of the tested animal is stored in our database and can be consulted at any time.

DETERMINATION OF PATERNITY/MATERNITY

The paternity/maternity test consists of comparing the genotypes of the animals in question.

Every animal inherits half of the genetic information from the biological mother and the other half from the biological father. With this, we can verify if a certain mating could result in that product.

If the information contained in the genotype of the product is compatible with that of the mother (maternity analysis) and/or with that of the possible father (paternity analysis), then it can be concluded that the animal in question has a probability of 99.999% in being the biological mother and/or father, on the other hand, if it turns out that there is no genetic compatibility between them, it can be concluded that the mother and/or possible father is not the biological parent.
